As promised I have an amazing recipe for you today!!!
The recipe is very easy and makes lots of wonderful cookies. Everyone on Tuesday raved about the cookies.
1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon corn syrup
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 cup butter
1 1/2 cups peanut butter
3 1/2 cups rolled oats (you can use quick oats)
1 cup flour
1 bag milk chocolate chips
1 bag M&ms
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a very large bowl, beat the eggs. Add the remaining ingredients in order, mixing well. Use an ice cream scoop or spoon to put on ungreased cookie sheet (I do spray my pans with pam). Bake for 9 to 12 minutes. Bake until edges of cookies are lightly browned. Be careful not to over cook!!!
Makes 35-40 cookies.
I scoop my cookies with a larger ice cream scoop. You can put them pretty close on the baking pan because they don’t melt down… They stay think and the center is still semi gooy!!! So good.
Now for those of you who want to be gluten free…. you are in luck! Just leave out the 1 cup of flour…. the cookies still turn out gooy and delicious.
I have also experimented with the candies. It tastes amazing with chocolate chunks or white chocolate. The thing that truly makes these cookies so good is the mounds of chocolate…. they definitely are not healthy!
